Boudoir Treasure…Vintage Chanel Print
What a find! I was searching “vintage Chanel” on Ebay, and found this original vintage print from 1944. You know I snatched it up real quick. Just imagine it…in all of it’s black and white glory, framed and hanging upon the wall in my dream boudoir. In the small print it says, “A VERY FINE FACE POWDER WITH THE MOST TREASURED NAME IN PERFUME”. I am so excited for its arrival! Chanel Trolley…the San Francisco Treat
A few nights ago, after a hard day at work, I decompressed by visiting some of my favorite blogs. Whilst doing so, I came across a post that is a goodie and must be shared. Marilyn Monroe on Chanel N°5
Chanel recently acquired the rights to some never-before-published audio of Marilyn Monroe talking about Chanel N°5 fragrance. I’m sure all of you Marilyn fans know that Marilyn famously shared that the only thing she wears to bed is Chanel N°5. Many of the actual publications where she professed this information, making the perfume as legendary as she, were never published. Chanel Inspired Sofa
Look what I found, ladies…a Chanel inspired sofa! Wish this was around when I did the Chanel Inspired Boudoir post (although I guess this would be more appropriate for a living room). This beautiful sofa (reminiscent of the Chanel 2.55 handbag with quilted leather) is from The New Traditionalists. It also comes in other colors, like blue, red and linen, but black looks most like “classic” Chanel, so it’s my favorite. 0
