Sunday’s Best: Hello Lover…of All Things Beautiful
Each sunday I try to showcase a blog or blogpost that I enjoy. This morning while searching online for where to find Carrie and Big’s headboard from SATC2, I stumbled upon a lovely new blog called Hello Lover…of All Things Beautiful. I was planning a nice post for all of you about Carrie and Big’s new apartment in SATC2. However, after finding the posts on Hello Lover…of All Things Beautiful, I am not even going to attempt it, because she has done an outstanding job. She even tells you where you can find the design looks for your own home! So, with that being said, I suggest you head on…

Thinking Outside the Boudoir: Sex and the City
As you may have noticed the theme on My Little Boudoir this past week has been Sex and the City, so why not continue with that theme for this month’s Thinking Outside the Boudoir series post. For those of you just recently visiting My Little Boudoir, Thinking Outside the Boudoir, is a series where I post each month a home from the movies that I admire. While some may not be practical for everyday life, or represent my overall ideal decor, I would love to spend some time in them, even just for a night. In some it is the decor that I fancy. In others it’s the architecture or…

Plexiglass Boudoir
This clip from the Prelinger archives is one that you must see (give it a few seconds to start playing….and don’t forget to scroll down and pause the My Little Boudoir Soundtrack first). You be the judge. Is this passé or futuristic? 2

A Man and His Boudoir Apartment
This is an amazing video! Architect and homeowner Gary Chang created a super efficient apartment that can be transformed to serve as 24 different rooms. It’s like a boudoir apartment (minus a dressing table). Don’t forget to scroll down and pause the My Little Boudoir Soundtrack before pressing play. 1

Barbie Style
If you liked the Living Like Barbie post, you’re sure to love the new Barbie Plastic Collection. This collection features some luxurious home furnishings and fashion. Never mind the hypnotizing circle in the background, what you need to zone in on is that darling chair right in the center. Suitable for lady and little girl boudoirs alike, this rendition of Philippe Starck’s Louis Ghost Chair is so charming. It combines the sleek glamorous design of the traditional Louis Ghost Chair, but ads some whimsy with the Barbie profile sketch and subtly speaks to the feminine in all of us with the color pink. I think this would be such a…

Give-Away: Signed Copy of “Summer at Tiffany” By Marjorie Hart
Yes, if you’re shrieking over the title of this post, go ahead and shriek again because it’s true. I really do have a copy of the newly released paperback version of one of my very favorite books, Summer at Tiffany, signed by the author, the lovely Marjorie Hart to give away to one lucky follower of My Little Boudoir. In case you missed it, I did a post back on January 10th about Summer at Tiffany. It is such a charming book. It’s difficult to find the hardback version in book stores, but the paperback version was just released at the beginning of April. That means, for any of you…

Thinking Outside the Boudoir: Breakfast at Tiffany’s
If you haven’t already noticed, the theme at My Little Boudoir recently is Tiffany & Co. So, what would be more appropriate than to feature Holly Golightly’s apartment in Breakfast at Tiffany’s for the monthly series called Thinking Outside the Boudoir. This is where I share my fascination of homes from the movies. While some may not be practical for everyday life, or represent my overall ideal decor, I would love to spend some time in them, even just for a night. In some it is the decor that I fancy. In others it’s the architecture or floor plan. And in some I think it’s my fondness for the characters.…

Tiffany & Co. Inspired Boudoir
In my current boudoir, which I share with my husband, I often daydream about what my very own little boudoir would be decorated like. What if you had a boudoir that was inspired by something you adore? Since the topic of my recent posts have been Tiffany & Co., let’s take a look at how to create a Tiffany & Co. inspired boudoir. 1. FURNITURE Tiffany blue (or white to contrast, if you’re using a Tiffany blue wall color) headboard, trimmed in faux diamond upholstery tacks by Diamond Head. I L.O.V.E. IT!! As you can see, it is inspired by the famous “Tiffany blue”, the white ribbon and, of course,…
