    Boudoir Essentials: The Boudoir Slipper

Every woman with a boudoir must own a pair of fabulously feminine boudoir (or house) slippers. To me a “boudoir” slipper should be a bit dressy…not the clunkers that are typical of this day and age that often times wind up looking like a mix of an old pair of clogs and something brought back from a hunting trip. She purchased it a few years back at (you probably guessed it by the pink and black) Victoria Secret. It plays La Vie en Rose (which is French for “life through rose-colored glasses”). La Vie en Rose was made popular by Edith Piaf in 1946, but my favorite version is by Marlene Dietrich. 0
