Happy Valentine’s Day I came across these boudiful (boudoir + beautiful) red heart-shaped tufted button slipper chairs (wow that was a mouthful) the other day online and deemed them perfect for my Valentine’s Day post and oh so boudoir worthy (although the red doesn’t really go with my color scheme). Every woman with a boudoir must own a pair of fabulously feminine boudoir (or house) slippers. To me a “boudoir” slipper should be a bit dressy…not the clunkers that are typical of this day and age that often times wind up looking like a mix of an old pair of clogs and something brought back from a hunting trip. Ok, I just found out a little bit more about the fashion show from my previous post. It is being hosted by Sarah Ferguson, Dutchess of York. The show will feature many internationally recognized designers, celebrities and VIP’s. The looks will be auctioned at a later date via net-a-porter. The funds, which are being raised for Haiti, will mainly go to rebuilding the healthcare system for women and children.
