Estate Sale: When Glamour Stands Still
Often times an estate sale is the result of an unfortunate death of an elderly person, or due to the fact that they’ve had to give up the home they’ve always known to be taken care of elsewhere. I feel very privileged for the opportunity to enter somebody’s home and go on a treasure hunt through their belongings, although something about it makes me also feel guilty, as though I’m invading their privacy and taking away part of their memories. No matter the country in which you reside, a fabulous chair is a fabulous chair and, oh, I do love what I am about to share. A creation of two things I adore…a chiavari chair and lucite/acrylic furniture. Chiavari Chair + Lucite/Acrylic = LUCITE CHIAVARI CHAIR!!! I first found this lucite chiavari chair on perch-home.com, which is a lovely store in New Orleans (more on this at a later date…this place is fabulous).
