    Elizabeth Taylor Collection at Christie’s

As a child in the 1980’s, I can remember adults talking about Elizabeth Taylor in a somewhat negative light. At the time, I only knew her by her “White Diamonds” look. With big hair and looking like she stepped off the set of Dynasty.   What I didn’t recognize at the time (which I’m ashamed of now), was how much of a talent and natural beauty she was. As a child, I had no idea about her history and the fact that she was Hollywood royalty. One thing I DID know though was that she was always dripping in fine jewels. Maxx to look for desk organizers and decor for my daughter’s birthday present. We snapped some photos of some of the lovely items they had that I though you might enjoy for your boudoir, office, dining room, patio, etc. As I headed for the aisle…

A little blue box…the way to a woman’s heart (ok, not really, but it helps)

This Tiffany & Co. porcelain box is a lovely gift that I received from a co-worker a few years back. I absolutely love it and have deemed it a must-have for the boudoir. I don’t see that they are still selling this size on the Tiffany & Co. website, but they do have a mini one as well as one made of crystal. Having it displayed in your boudoir evokes that feeling that only a “little blue box” can bring… 0
