In this day and age of social media and text messages, you should make it a priority to communicate by mail to your friends and family from time-to-time. A couple of years ago, my daughter and I went to Michael’s to pick up a marquee letter for my baby boy’s nursery. While I was there (as usual) I could not pass up a browse at the dollar bins. Glamour Party: Sleep Mask Party Invitations
For my daughter’s 13th birthday, I wanted to do it up big for her party to celebrate her entrance to teenagehood. The theme was Glamour (and it was a sleepover). In my living room I have some vintage magazines displayed on the bottom shelf of the end table that sits next to the sofa. Madonna is Back!
Over the past few years, I’ve felt shame for not really loving Madonna like I used to. I just felt like she was straying from the Madonna that I love. Well ladies, she’s back! Madonna’s performance at today’s Super Bowl half time show was outstanding. It gave me chills! The addition of Cee-Lo and Nicki Minaj was nice too. 1

Spending Chanel on Chanel
Perhaps I’ve been hiding under a rock for the past two years, but a few months ago I found out about these stunning Chanel coins. Now I’m no numismatic, but I sure would like to be the proud owner of one of these beauties. They were made in both gold and silver, and no, I don’t mean in color, I mean the real deal. While they appear to be a €5 coin, they actually sold for a lot more because they are made of gold and silver. Ever thought of decorating the walls of your boudoir with paintings of a room that belongs to someone else? I absolutely adore these paintings by Jeremiah Goodman (often known by his first name alone). They are beautiful interior “portraits” that blend a beautifully designed room with a magical touch that leaves you feeling as though you’re in a boudoir wonderland.
