Jean-Paul Gaultier for Roche Bobois
The man famous for his “boudoir” designs being worn outside of the boudoir (including Madonna’s iconic 1990’s cone bra look), has now designed a line that is truly meant for the boudoir (and perhaps the rest of your home as well). Jean-Paul Gaultier has designed a home decor line for Roche Bobois. You will notice that some pieces, like the blush bedding and corset-inspired pillows, take on a more feminine look, while other pieces like the tattoo-esque armoire and luggage-inspired chests take on a more edgier street vibe. The combination of these two looks reflect Gaultier’s signature aesthetic. For more information about this line and store locations, please visit Roche-Bobois.com.…

Amazing Grace…How Sweet the Smell…
One scent that I am addicted to is Amazing Grace by Philosophy. To be very honest, this is probably not a fragrance that I would have normally selected, but on a trip through the gauntlet (aka the cosmetics department at Nordstrom), I was approached by a sales person ready to provide me with a squirt of Amazing Grace lotion. I accepted, and went on about my business. On my journey through the mall that day, I began to love the fragrance more and more. On my way back through Nordstrom I had to pick up a bottle of the lotion. This past Christmas, my husband bought me the gift set.…

Sunday’s Best: Frou Frou Fashionista
Since My Little Boudoir began in January 2010, women from 117 countries have visited. Clearly, many are unable to understand what I write about, but instead keep coming back to enjoy the many images on display. The photos that I am going to to share with you in today’s post need little explanation because they speak the international language of “Boudoir”. I would like to introduce Frou Frou Fashionista. Frou Frou Fashionista is a blog that is run by the owners of Faire Frou Frou, a luxury lingerie shop in Studio City, California. Don’t fret, if you’re not in the area they also have an online boutique. You’ll find that…

Chanel Inspired Boudoir
If there are two things I know about the readers of My Little Boudoir…it is that you adore both a ladies boudoir and all things Chanel. This post is all about the blending of the two. This has been a long time in the making, because I knew there could be nothing less than the best if we’re talking Chanel. In these design ideas you will find that I infused inspirations from Chanel designs, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel (her personal life and style), as well as elements from her private apartment. So, without further adieu, I present you with the elements of a Chanel inspired boudoir. Enjoy! 1. WALLS Chanel’s iconic…

Celebrity Boudoir: Christina Aguilera
This month’s celebrity boudoir belongs to Christina Aguilera. You may have already seen the photos that I am about to share with you, because most of them were featured in In Style magazine and have been shared on many ‘o blogs. When you see how fabulous her boudoir is though, you’ll know why I couldn’t resist posting them. I believe she has since purchased a new home, but these photos were taken in the home that she purchased from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne (the one they lived in during their reality show, The Osbourne’s). Her decor is a bit eclectic, and features many design styles (Chinoiserie, Moroccan, Hollywood Regency, Paris…

Bargain Busting Boudoir
This past spring, my daughter officially became a “tween” (this is the term they use now when one is in between being a young child and a teen). This meant that her boudoir was in need of two things: a bigger desk and a bedroom vanity. Since I’m sure she’ll want to upgrade to the “teen” look in her bedroom soon, I didn’t want to spend the money on a new desk or vanity. Ok, let me be honest…she already wants to do away with the pastels and go for a more mature look in her bedroom, but I am desperately trying to hold on to the “little girl” decor…

Little Bo(udoir) Peep
Not many items say feminine like ruffles. Yep, just like Little Bo Peep’s undergarments….. …..but now instead of just wearing them on your knickers for a “peep“….. …..you can now enjoy them for a sleep in the “bo”udoir as well. Undergarments shown are from babygirlboutique.com. They have a nice selection of vintage-inspired lingerie. Bedding/Pillows shown are from horchow.com. 1

Celebrity Boudoir: Kimora Lee Simmons
If you are addicted to the show Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane (like I am), you will know two things…that she has an amazing boudoir in her New Jersey home (ok, it’s a closet, but honestly, it’s probably the size of my living room and it even has a bathroom in it) -and- she embodies all things fabulous. She even has her own word, “Fabulosity”. It doesn’t really get much more fabulous than leopard print carpet, right? Probably not my personal choice, but that’s what I love about Kimora; she’s not afraid to be over-the-top. But even better is that, in addition to her love for fashion and material…

Jeremiah Goodman
Ever thought of decorating the walls of your boudoir with paintings of a room that belongs to someone else? I absolutely adore these paintings by Jeremiah Goodman (often known by his first name alone). They are beautiful interior “portraits” that blend a beautifully designed room with a magical touch that leaves you feeling as though you’re in a boudoir wonderland. Every time I look at them, I get a warm feeling. The rooms look so cozy and warm, without diminishing their regal appeal. Here are some examples of Jeremiah’s work featured on Dean Rhys Morgan. 0
