For all of you fans of fashion, who also have a soft spot in your heart for Haiti (like me), you may be interested in this fabulous event I am about to share with you. Naomi Campbell is putting on a fashion show during the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, where superstars will walk the runway to benefit the people of Haiti. It is called Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief. In addition to the fashion show, the looks from the show will also be auctioned off. The Handbag Search
I’ve recently been searching for a new handbag. Since this sort of purchase is typically an investment of sorts, which means it needs to last a while, I look for one that meets the following criteria: 1. Quality (because it needs to last) 2. Black (because it goes with almost everything) 3. Leather (because it is more durable and easier to keep clean) 4. Timeless (again, because it has to last a while) 5. Ok, well, some may be truly classified as a dressing room or closet, but they are so glamorous that I would consider them worthy of being called a boudoir. I’m really into navy blue and orange lately, so I was very excited when I saw Kate Spade’s Jet-Setter and Par Avion looks for this Spring. I want this Par Avion cosmetic bag and fabulous coat to be mine… I’ll take that with a side order of handbags, please… (you may recognize the orange one from Olive Oyl Royale part II) I’m not going to lie and pretend that my legs are suitable for these shorts, but I find them delightful nonetheless… 0

In 1919 when Olive Oyl first donned her gold bauble earrings, red sweater, yellow striped black skirt and brown boots (the prequel to Uggs), she probably never guessed nautical fashion for women could be so glamorous. Although, I’m sure today her heart would be throbbing (like mine) for the nautical looks that are coming this spring. As a girl, my absolute favorite thing to do was play with Barbie dolls. I would spend hours in my bedroom playing. As an adult, I don’t love Barbie any less, our relationship has just evolved.
