Posh Postage
Handwritten letters and cards are so meaningful. In this day and age of social media and text messages, you should make it a priority to communicate by mail to your friends and family from time-to-time. Sending “thank you” cards after the holidays is a perfect excuse! Don’t you agree that it is a pleasant delight to receive a card in the mail, among the mounds of bills and junk mail? Every boudoir should be well equipped with good stationary, and if space permits, a writing desk (in my case, my vanity doubles as a desk, for now). Since I’m all about adding beauty whenever possible, a stamp can make for…
O Christmas Tree…How Lovely Are Your Ornaments…
It is that time of the year where I reluctantly must take down my Christmas tree. 🙁 I love Christmas so much that I begin listening to Christmas music around Halloween and I like to leave my tree up for a long time post-Christmas. The problem is, I usually get busy with work travel and then it stays up for far too long. My husband once accused me of keeping it up until May, but that’s a pure lie (I think). Saying that it was up until late Feb/early March might be the truth though (I know, I know…and yes, it’s a fake tree). Some may ask why he doesn’t…
Theme Park Boudoir (part two)
To me, a boudoir is like a fantasy world. A place where you can relax and get away from the stress of everyday life. A place where your imagination can take you to another world. The feeling of such a magical place does not have to be reserved for only the times when you are at home, because one can enjoy a boudoir while traveling, too. You will see this in some of my other posts, like Floating Boudoir, The Suite Life…a boudoir away from home and Theme Park Boudoir (part one) to name a few. If you are a self-proclaimed Disney fanatic, then you’ll love this boudoir-away-from-home. Before you get too…
Theme Park Boudoir (part one)
I work in the travel industry. My position allows me the opportunity to travel quite often. I happen to oversee most of the Disney product that my company sells. This has allowed me some really special opportunities. For example, I attended the grand opening of Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure Park last summer and most recently the grand opening of the New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Two of the most exciting things I’ve done though, is visit Walt Disney’s apartment and the Dream Suite at Disneyland. First, please allow me apologize for the poor quality of these pictures. I never remember to take a camera with me when…
The Suite Life…a boudoir away from home
Most hotels offer basic suites that provide larger and usually more luxurious accommodations than a standard guest room. The suites I am about to share with you though, offer a little something more. They are each themed to be perfectly desired by a lady (or even young lady) looking for a boudoir on the road. Here are my all time favorite themed suites: The Dior Suite at the St. Regis – New York, NY The Tiffany Suite at the St. Regis – New York, NY The Eloise Suite at The Plaza – New York, NY Coco Chanel Suite at the Ritz Paris – Paris, France Fairy Tale Suite at the Disneyland Hotel –…
